Chanel Jade
I looked at a Claire's a couple weeks ago and they didn't have it, but then I happened to be walking by a different location and decided to pop in to see if they would have Dream Catcher. I managed to snag the last bottle they had. I believe it was $4.50CDN. They were having a buy one get the 2nd half off, but I didn't see anything else I wanted.

I'm really liking this colour. The first couple of coats were a bit streaky, but a third coat smoothed things out.

Wow they are very similar. I wonder if the Claire's near me has it. i waited too long to get Jade and missed out. Doh!

ReplyDelete@marisol - You should definitely check to see if you can get it, it is a pretty colour! And cheap too. Chanel polishes are $$!
@Rags2Riches - Hopefully you'll be able to find it! The first store I checked was Scarborough Town Centre and they didn't have it, I got the last bottle at Yorkdale, but I *think* it's a colour that Claire's stocks regularly so they might get more with new shipments.
the colour in these pics really remind me of MAC Peppermint Patti! But I was under the impression that Chanel Jade was going to be a lighter green. Is the Claires lighter green in real life or also very similar to Peppermint Patti?
ReplyDelete@blu3 - The colour on my monitor is pretty accurate with my nails, maybe a tad bit lighter irl, but not by that much. I haven't seen Dream Catcher compared to Peppermint Patti, though I think that one is lighter (I don't have it myself). The comparison pics I've seen with Jade and Dream Catcher, they look to be pretty much the exact same colour though!
