I am in absolute LOVE with the new Blush Ombres from the MAC Spring Colour Forecast collection.
Azalea Blossom Blush Ombre
Vintage Grape Blush Ombre
Springshine Blush Ombre
Ripe Peach Blush Ombre
They're all completely gorgeous. Incredibly smooth, along the lines of a beauty powder blush. So pigmented too, they apply like a dream! They're bigger than regular MAC blushes - the same size as the Beauty Powders.
Here are some swatches:
Vintage Grape, Azalea Blossom, Springshine, Ripe Peach (no flash)
Vintage Grape, Azalea Blossom, Springshine, Ripe Peach (with flash)
I'm glad to have purchased all these beauties. What do you think of them? Will you be getting any of the blush ombres?

I can't wait for these to come out! I want Ripe Peach! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures and swatches! Lovely blog, I am a new follower now. Noce work here! XX
ReplyDeleteI nominated you for an award: http://kittynail.blogspot.com/2010/01/blog-awards.html
ReplyDelete@LipGlossGossip - You should definitely get it, it's gorgeous! I absolutely love these!
ReplyDelete@Catanya - Thank you and welcome! Glad you liked the swatches :)
@Kittynail - Thanks so much!!! I will make a post about this soon :)
Vintage Grape & Azalea Blossom look amazing. Sooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI won't be getting any.
I can't wait to get my hands on Ripe Peach! Thanks for the great swatches!
ReplyDeleteRipe Peach will be mine!
ReplyDelete@marisol - They are pretty, I like that Vintage Grape isn't like any other blushes I have. I was a bit intimidated by it at first, but it's really gorgeous when you put it on with a stipling brush. The colour is totally buildable as well though.
ReplyDelete@Marce - You're welcome, I'm glad you like the swatches! Ripe Peach is such a great colour, I bet you'll love it :)
@Lipstick Rules - You've got lots of will power if you stop at Ripe Peach alone. So many beauties in this collection!
I'm so tempted...but so far I've been able to resist because of the price! If I were to buy one though it would be Azalea Blossom because it looks so unique!
ReplyDelete@blu3 - Yeah, I try to justify the price by telling myself it's bigger than a normal blush, so it'll last longer hehe :) If you do think you might want one, you probably shouldn't wait too long, the blush ombres seem to be flying off the shelves, in particular Azalea Blossom and Ripe Peach!
ReplyDeleteAHH my goshhhh theyy are soo pretttyyyy :o

i hope u dont mind me asking because my local mac makeup MAs are crap...what would u recommend for nc30...because i actully have just hit pan on my sincere blush. ive heard ripe peach is really good as a blush, and i would also like a more contoury shade which i used to use sincere for (i have pink swoon for my pinky blush but i could do with a replacement for that too lol). any tips?
ReplyDeletei live in the uk where these will come out next month btw. and would u recommend backups for anything.
thanks in advance x
@simpleelegance - Hey! Thanks for stopping by. I am only a MAC addict and not a MA haha but I can tell you what I like for myself! I am a NC25, so we are close to the same colour. I'm really loving Ripe Peach, and seems like everyone else is too, there's quite the frenzy over it and it's sold out in many places in the US and Canada. I guess that's a plus of you living in the UK, you can see everyone's reviews and swatches etc of the new collections before having to rush out and buy anything! As far as blushes go, I love Well Dressed, it's my everyday go to blush. I think you may like Azalea Blossom if you like pink blushes like that, it's gorgeous on! If you're looking for something to contour with, I know a lot of people use Blunt. I hope that helped a little. Good luck with your haul! :)
ReplyDeleteThe make up drives me crazy!!! i love to see my eyes outstanding and seductive and is very impressive to see my face when i use blush, my face stay with a youthful pink, wonderful. So when i make up very well is sure my date must to buy viagra because i am very ardous.
