LUSH Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter

A while ago, I noticed that the cold winter weather was taking a toll on my hands and cuticles, they were looking pretty dry and in need of moisture. Me constantly switching up my nail polish probably didn't help the problem, nail polish remover can be pretty harsh. I figured maybe it was time to get some kind of cuticle butter or oil to help with the problem.

After reading some reviews, I decided to try LUSH's Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter. That along with the Oatifix face mask made up my first LUSH purchase.

LUSH Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter

I've been using this cuticle butter for a while now, and I really do like it. I usually put some on after I finish doing my nails when my polish has dried, and also before bed time. I wasn't too crazy about the smell at first, but it has grown on me. It moisturizes really well from the instant you apply it. No more dry cuticles here!

A bonus is that you can use it on any areas of your body that are dry, such as your elbows and it will help moisturize and soften the skin.

Have you tried Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter? Do you have any favorite LUSH products?

  1. I really should pick this up the next time that I'm at Lush. I've been lusting after it for ages.

  2. @Naomi - you should! It's a little jar, but I've been using it pretty often and have barely made a dent in it. It'll last a long time. :)

  4. I have heard great things about this product. I am currently using Burt's Bees Lemon Cuticle balm or something like that and I like it. it has a pleasant lemon scent to it. But when I run out, I will try Lush's. What do you think of Oatifix? I felt like I had baby food smeared all over my face but it did leave my face really nice. I liked it.

Some of my other face Lush products are karma, rock star & I should coco soaps. I am not a bath person so I haven't tried the bath bombs. I also like several of the massage bars.

And you must try Big Shampoo & American Cream conditioner... LOVE!

  5. is it greasy at all?
sometimes when its all greasy i get all worried it might not come off my sheets (i'm so weird lol) because I had a cuticle cream once that made little brown spots on my white sheets...but I guess I put on too much?

  6. Oh and I LOVE bath bombs from lush. I treat myself to one after something big like a birthday, a traumatic event, a big project done etc. I like all of them but b/f says butterball smells best. Some of them have little bits of stuff in them though and they get stuck on the bathtub so i have to clean them but its ok they make me smell nice and make me feel pampered hehehe what about youu?

  7. @barbie - It's only recently that I've tried LUSH products, I am likingthem so far and excited to try more!

@marisol - I really liked Oatifix. Smells yummy and did a good job of adding some extra moisture to my face. I am definitely going to try the Big Shampoo at some point. It gets so many rave reviews!

@Ms. Champagne - I didn't find it to be too greasy, but I made sure not to apply too much and I did massage it in until it was absorbed well. I haven't had any problems getting anything I've touched greasy afterwards. I have never tried any of the bath bombs, I'm not much of a bath person, but I agree some of them smell lovely! :)
